MF-10KWXB
Development of 10 Gbps DWDM puggable light transceivers
1  2  3  NEXT
Outline
Because of the rapid increase of IP traffic as a result of the broadband access, there is a growing need for achieving broad-based, high-speed communication networks at low cost.
MF-10KWXB is a double-sized transceiver utilizing two (2) slots for short- and medium-distance-use XFP Optical Transceivers that take high-consumption current capacity and mounting of a wide variety of functions into consideration, to enable adoption of the Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) required for an extra long distance transmission area.
Features
Conforms to SDH ITU-T and 10G Ethernet IEEE802.3ae
Conforms to XFP MSA revision 4.0
Conforms to XFI 10 Gbps electrical serial interface standard
Electrical interface capable of pluggable hot-line insertion and extraction.
Control function by I2C (2-wire interface)
LC receptacle (single or duplex) optical connector interface
Operation case temperature range -5°C to 70°C
Size 78 x 48 x 12.6 mm
Applications
Perfect for Metropolitan Network which requires long-distance/high-volume, high-speed optical communication and a 10 Gbps DWDM application in long-distance transmission.
Future Deployment
We are planning to develop laser-equipped products capable of changing wavelengths (full-tunable type), which is a 10 Gbps DWDM application for a backbone transmission system requiring more transmission volume.
